Why You Should Test Your Drinking Water

It probably isn’t a surprise to hear that most City, State and Federal Governments have drinking water standards which must be met, in order to serve the public. With many sharing an overlapping list of contaminants that need to be filtered out/down if a company wants to be in the business of providing a “Drinking” product.

In the United States this list currently has around 100 contaminants on it, which, if not filtered down to established guidelines, will leave the company producing the product(s) liable. Good news for people who need to stay hydrated, right!

Definitely! Until, of course, you learn that there are over 62,000 chemicals on the market identified as potential contaminants that pose a risk to human health.

Which, seems to indicate there may be a gap in the guidelines and what is actually needed. And to be honest, that list is probably optimistic, as there are likely many more emerging contaminates which haven’t even been considered for analysis yet.

THIS right here, makes taking your water filtration into your own hands, a necessary part of Owning Your Health!
