When you look back at the legendary cinema masterpiece Happy Gilmore, it wasn’t until the main character Happy (Adam Sandler) found his “Happy Place” that things started to go his way.

And where was this secret destination?

No place other than right inside his own head. When he channeled this internal state he was able to relax, think clearly, smile and carry our the task at hand (in his case winning the green jacket and saving his grandmas house).

Ok, but why does this matter?

Well, because this is the state that we “Oh So Often” lose control over on a daily basis, becoming overcome by the situation at hand and spiraling into a “Fight or Flight” stress response without even realizing.

THIS in Fact, is unfortunately the modern-day reality for so many intelligent walking apes on the reg. With new research suggesting that it is not only causing short term distress, but likely chipping away at our longevity too. Yes, our healthy years of life. Which makes finding your very own “Happy Place” sooner rather than later, a pretty good idea…

So lets look at some ways you can DO Just THAT! And Take Back Control!

P.S – Who woulda thunk that film was delivering a mater class in Longevity this whole time!
