Ready for a Biological Tale?

There is a magical land deep within all of our cells which transforms the food we eat into the energy which, well…. allows us to eat more food… Oh, and carry out life as we know it, but who’s keeping score.

This “Land” is an organelle called the Mitochondria, a mythical place in which we never see, yet KNOW is operating simply because WE are operating.

And interestingly, as we learn more about this mystical cellular machinery, it seems to only INCREASE in it’s importance and influence, officially making it something that we ALL should have an vested interest in to optimize, no?

So with that, the question becomes, why are WE, as a species, slowly but surly leading these little guys down the path of disease & dysfunction?

Unknowingly standardizing-on the sub-optimal lifestyle habits which stress these mission-critical organelles out, to the point they become a source of toxicity in the body?

Toxicity which manifests as a chronically achy, tired, lethargic, depressed, overly anxious human… Humans who are NOT enjoying life on a constant basis….

So could it be, that doing the opposite, and building habits which allow our Mitochondria to prosper, will thus, allow US, to prosper?
