Well, turns out breakfast might be the most important meal of the day again. At least until the next study drops.

Because new data tracking more than 31,000 adults for nearly nine years found that eating your first meal after noon (12pm) was linked to roughly 2.5 fewer years of life. Yeah, wild claim, I know.

But it comes with some serious caveats. Like the fact that people who started eating later but kept a moderate window, think noon to 8pm (one of the most popular intermittent fasting protocols out there), weren’t flagged at all. And eating too early didn’t get a free pass either.

So we broke it all down and told the REAL story. The one you need to know if you care about that vitality-over-time thing, aka longevity.
