We all know that person who can down an espresso, energy drink, or one of a million other caffeinated beverages literally minutes before they fall asleep, claiming that it just “doesn’t effect them” or “they’ve build up a tolerance”. Which, very well may be true….

However, this truth often only applies to the “Going Asleep” part of the biological equation, because despite their claim, there is no true way to look at the “When Asleep” part without being hooked-up to a fancy Brain Monitor(EEG) in a controlled environment with data comparing their sleeping Brain with and without the presence of caffeine. Alittle more complicated, I know.

However a task researchers out of University of Montreal stepped-up to the plate to carry out, so all of us caffeine addicts could finally know if the long rumored 12pm cutoff time is legit, or just a myth.

And what I’ll say is, the results will definitely make ya think alittle more about those pre-bed coffees.
