I think we’d all agree that there’s almost always a tier of “Good, Better, Best” when it comes to the daily habits which comprise our lives. And even though we have a good idea of where each habit may land, I think most would ALSO agree that they spend WAY too much time in the “I probably shouldn’t be doing this” category.

With that reality as the backdrop, it’s safe to say the MORE time one spends on the positive side of this spectrum, the better off they are! And when that comes to our daily activity levels, it means that anything other than the ultra-sedentary norm, is a really good thing!

However, say you’re one of those “Longevity Over Achievers” and really want to nail-down what the most beneficial daily activity level is to optimize your cellular and metabolic state not only, for the here and now, but for the long run…. Is there an optimal strategy?

Well, truth is, we’ll never REALLY know for sure due to the complexity of running a “Life-Long” randomized control study in humans. However, this new observational study took a novel approach to see what hints it could find…. And the outcome is NOT what you would initially think…
