It’s estimated that we humans have around 20,000 protein coding genes…… Meaning genes that when “Turned On”…. DO THINGS!

“Things”… such as provide the instructions to create the proteins which allow our pretty cool meat suit to function. Kinda Important, and for that reason, there aren’t too many people arguing against our genes being a necessity for survival…

Now, the internet battles begin when contemplating just HOW IMPORTANT genes are when it comes to Aging, Longevity & HEALTHSPAN… Or being the healthiest most functional YOU, for as long as you possibly can

And that my friends is where the concept of “Epi-Genetics”….. or the specific expression of our genome across all the various cell types and tissues throughout our body, comes into play!

Ya See, although we vary in shape, size and personality, we humans have ALOT of the same genes, with variance between two individual being somewhere around 0.1%…

Which begs the question… If we’re 99.9% genetically alike, how could there be SO MUCH variance in Health & Aging across our population….?

It just so happens, EXPRESSION, may be the deciding factor… Let’s Explore!
