When you’re stressed, I think we’d all agree one of the last places we look to alleviate it, is in our gut.

But, as is tradition with our ironically entertaining biology, that may actually be the best place to start. With the caveat that this “Starting” needs to be proactive, before you become stressed in the first place to actually work.

Because new research is finally shedding light on the underlying role the trillions of micro-organisms in our gut (Microbiome) have on the flexibility and dilation of our blood vessels. Or in layman terms, our blood pressure. A measurement which often goes through the roof when we are chronically stressed, leading to a laundry list of cardiovascular problems and the clinical diagnosis of Hypertension.

Making the manipulation of ones microbiome and new therapeutic target to manage and potentially reverse this problem. And it just so happens that one of the best ways to do just that, is by strategically timing and confining your meals throughout the day…
